Frequently asked questions before starting a website

The answers below explain how our team starts with your needs and plans a complete, expandable solution. Find information about working with us, hosting, code, the Editor and support.

A team assessing website requirements
How is the quote prepared?

We do not require packages with predefined features. We discuss what you want your website to achieve and which pages and functions it needs, then prepare a quote accordingly.

Who owns the domain?

We recommend registering the domain in the client's name so that it remains under their control, regardless of any future collaboration with us.

Who controls the hosting?

Likewise, we recommend keeping hosting in the client's own account. We can guide the process without having to act as a hosting reseller.

What happens after delivery?

You can continue working with us for support, changes and development at an agreed fee, or choose a different way to manage your website.

Do I receive the website's source code?

Yes. Once the project is completed and paid for, you receive the complete, organised HTML (page structure code)/CSS (presentation rules)/JavaScript (browser interaction code) source code, including the page structure and related files.

Are photographs or the logo charged separately?

No. If you do not have suitable photographs or images, we create the visuals needed for the agreed website and include them in the price. If you do not have a logo, we create three different proposals for you to choose from, also at no extra charge. Alternatively, you can provide your own material or a logo from your designer.

Is there an additional platform or basic hosting fee?

Webanelixis.com does not charge an additional platform subscription for the basic hosting infrastructure we recommend. Most professional websites can use a provider's free basic tier. If future usage, traffic or specialist requirements exceed its limits and require an upgrade, the provider's charge is explained and paid by the client.

Which features may cost extra?

The core features of a properly built website are included in the build. Additional charges may apply to specialist requirements, such as protected pages or groups of pages with different passwords, custom functions and integrations, and future work or support after delivery.

Do you handle the website's technical details?

Yes. We handle the core technical details needed for a well organised professional website to work reliably, guide visitors properly and avoid unnecessary dependencies. An external service is chosen only when it provides real functional or regulatory value.

Will it work properly on mobile and tablet?

Yes. Responsive behaviour and testing at different screen sizes are core parts of the implementation.

Is an invoice issued for the build?

Yes. An invoice is issued when the project is completed. Once payment is made, hosting is handed over to your account along with the complete, organised website source code.
